Sicily Lost for 35 Nerve Wracking Days

My 89-year-old Father, with well being issues, and his 4 cats, moved in to dwell with us in a small home in our again yard. Accidentally the 12 12 months previous black cat he had named Sister, slipped out a door. She had all the time been shy and he failed to note or inform me till the subsequent day.

I instantly started a search. Contacted the neighbors. Put up indicators on the road corners. Contacted the native shelters. Walked and drove round on daily basis searching for her. Cried I used to be heartbroken as she was a part of our household.

The days and weeks glided by. I knew she was in a wierd neighborhood and utterly misplaced. I hoped somebody was serving to her…then one night our normal poodle Redd discovered her in our storage!!! Sister had discovered us! She had survived 35 days of starvation and being misplaced. She was very skinny and had a fungus an infection on her legs, however now’s doing nicely with numerous meals and medical care.

We have moved Sister into our home and renamed her Sicily. She won’t ever be misplaced or hungry once more. She was too shy of a cat for my aged Dad to handle, so she is the place she must be now. We are all pleased! Jan
